The Water Digest Water Award honors contributions by individuals, business industries and NGOs to improve the water situation in India.

Ramky Infrastructure Ltd has bagged The Water Digest “Water Awards 2009-2010” under Best Water Conserver – Waste Water Management Category, for its 80 Million Litres per Day (MLD) Project at Airoli Mumbai.

The Water Digest Water Award 2009-10 honors contributions by individuals, business industries and NGOs to improve the water situation in India. It recognises and encourages innovation and leadership in sustainable development of the water sector.

Water Digest Water Awards, supported by UNESCO and Ministry of Water Resources India, were set-up in 2006 to honour distinguished work carried out by various companies to save and conserve water.

Past winners include ONGC, ITC Limited and NHPC.
