The only South Indian company to win so far, MORF received the award for being a distinguished complete domestic water solutions provider and for its outstanding contribution in the field of water in India.

MORF INDIA LIMITED, an ISO certified and CRISIL rated public limited company has won the UNESCO Water Digest Award for the year 2009-10. UNESCO Water Digest Award has been awarded to MORF for being the distinguished complete domestic water solutions provider and for the outstanding contribution in the field of water in India.

MORF INDIA is the only South India-based company to win this award so far. The other companies who have won this award earlier are Eureka Forbes, Ion Exchange and Kent. Incidentally, MORF INDIA also received the Best OEM 2009 award recently from Pentair Water, a US-based global supplier of water treatment components.

Mr. M. V. Praveen, Director, MORF INDIA said “We are glad to receive this honour and take pride in being the only South India Company so far to win this prestigious award.” He further stated that their goal by 2013 is to transform MORF INDIA into a preeminent national player in the environmental and health segment. The three segments namely water, solar and air are growing exponentially and present huge business opportunities for companies with the right products, systems and processes.

“Water purification being a highly service-oriented industry, MORF INDIA periodically brings in tangible value added services from time to time. MORF would also be shortly launching a mobile water analysis laboratory which will be yet another value addition from the MORF stable. A unique toll-free number to receive customer queries will also be launched simultaneously”, said Mr. R. Kcannan, Director-Technical.

MORF’s existing services such as 24-hour helplines, holiday service and an all-inclusive guarantee created waves and very few companies offer such services in this industry.

In FY 2009-10, the company is expected to touch a turnover of 7 crores. 70% of its revenue is still expected to come from the domestic segment where the company maintains a dominant position.
