HMWSSB has decided to hold Prajavani meetings at division level for maximum attendance.


Taking into consideration difficulties expressed by its consumers in attending the weekly Prajavani meeting at its head office in Khairatabad, HMWSSB said it would organise the same at the division level as well for the convenience of the general public on November 29.

It will be conducted at Goshamal (for O&M divisions I, II, III), Red Hills (IV), Narayanaguda (V), SR Nagar (VI), Maredpally, (VII), PKHP (IX), sub division office at NTR Nagar (X), sub division office at IDPL (XI), Sainikpuri (XIII, XIV), Chandanagar (XV) and Budvel, Rajendranagar (XVI).

The HMWSSB has delegated powers to General Managers and Chief General Managers to settle disputes at division level up to Rs.15,000, said a press release. Issues such as one time settlement, metering and billing disputes, change of category, non issue of bills, irregular water supply, sewerage problems etc. can be brought to the notice of officials.
